January 6, 2011 Day 6 Healthy Habit- Take a Multivitamin
Now that youve hopefully been analyzing your food and drinking your water, I hope that you are feeling some benefits from making better choices. Yesterday, I suggested eating more fruits and vegetables. I mentioned them to show options in being able to eat more for less calories. However, there are more benefits from eating fruits and vegetables, you gain nutrients that you dont gain from a lot of our favorites especially from foods high in fat and carbohydrates.
It is very difficult to gain all the nutrients that you need in food alone, therefore I suggest you take a multivitamin. I have made this part of my daily routine since developing a healthier lifestyle. There are many choices out there, but you can start with the basic multivitamin. The bottle will list all the necessary nutrients to assist your body functions.
I have personally seen the benefits of taking a multivitamin, I feel that I get less colds and do not fatigue easily.
